The Ministry of Culture of the CDMX Government reported that tomorrow, Tuesday, December 31, a concert of high energy and visual spectaclewhich will be in charge of mexican sonidero known as Polymarchs.
The event will be free and will take place at the Ángel de la Independencia, which is why the streets of Avenida Paseo de la Reforma are expected to become a giant nightclub that will extend to the Glorieta del Ahuehuete.

New Year 2025 CDMX: Polymarchs schedule at the Ángel de la Independencia
The celebration of New Year 2025 in CDMX will have the presence of the sonidero Polymarchs at the monument of Angel of Independence; This is a disco and high energy band that has more than 48 years of experience in Mexico.
Polymarchs is a project headed by Apolinar Silva de la Barrera and her sister Marí, but they are also part of the sonidero Elisa de la Barrera and Marco Antonio “Tony” Barrerasister and nephew of Apolinar.
In this framework, the CDMX Government contemplates that the concert start at 10 pm on December 31, and is expected to conclude three hours laterafter the New Year’s ritual. In that sense, attendees are recommended to arrive early to get a better place at the Ángel de Independencia.
New Year 2025 CDMX: CDMX Metro and CDMX Metrobús schedules on December 31 and January 1
Regarding the celebration of New Year 2025 in CDMXIt is worth remembering that the CDMX Metro and the CDMX Metrobús will have special schedules on December 31 and the January 1.
The Mobility Secretariat (Semovi) of Mexico City specified the CDMX Metro schedules They will be the following:
- On December 31 there will be service from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
- On January 1 the hours will be from 05:00 to 00:00
While the service in CDMX Metrobus will be the following:
- On December 31, lines 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 will provide service from 4:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- On January 1 the hours will be from 05:00 to 00:00.
