A few months ago we told you about the evolving genre “Millennial Whodunnit” – the new take on the old detective murder mystery. And “Just Killers in the Building,” which was arguably last year’s biggest surprise – who would have believed that one of the best series of the year would star Martin Short, Steve Martin and Selena Gomez. What is it? When exactly did Acid open?
The first season of “Only Killers in the Building” managed to answer (almost) all the questions it raised, and at the same time also managed to pick up the discount for next season in an excellent cliff-hanger (which we will not expand on, because if you have not yet seen that season, this is a series That spoilers are really a bit destructive). And finally, after a long wait of less than a year, yesterday (Tuesday) they landed at Disney Plus the first two episodes of the second season. And this is exactly the time to see what’s going on with the bunch.

“Only Killers in the Building” has won the appreciation of critics and audiences alike for being a suspenseful, clever, interesting and mostly so enjoyable series. Similar to its chattering between Hollywood legends (Martin Short, Steve Martin, Nathan Lane, Sting!) And young stars (Selena Gomez, and in the new season, so does Cara Delvin) – so too does the series itself manage to be a fresh delight with nostalgic flavor. However, it’s not an indulgence in old Hollywood, but an up-to-date tribute that can simultaneously communicate with the true crime podcast genre and with the creations of Woody Allen (and not the man, yikes). We can no longer wait and find out how they will tie up all the open threads they left behind.
