They say that samurai have no goal, only a path. This brings them very close to the Belarusian propaganda machine. When will these people be happy? When to achieve yours? But their activities do not seem to have a defined final point, and they have to constantly come up with something new to move and live.
Now they have come up with the idea that the slop is also something Nazi. It was possible, of course, to continue the flower through all the stages of propaganda absurdity and recognize it first as an unauthorized plant, then as an extremist content of Belarusian fields, then ban cornflowers from growing in quantities of more than three plants per five square meters (otherwise it would already be an extremist formation), and only then declare them a Nazi symbol.
But infamous Olga Bondarova decided to take a short route and immediately saw something (or everything?) Nazi in the woolen shoes. And no matter how absurd it may seem, such absurdity is completely part of the logic of the work of the Belarusian regime. Power is in his hands, he does not fight for power. He has a monopoly on violence, absolute impunity and self-issued permission for literally everything. It would seem that what else do the people of this system need?
And they need to artificially support the struggle with everything Belarusian, because they don’t know how to do anything else. The system lives on this struggle, because it is not ready to offer any positive agenda. Well, what positive agenda can she have? “We fired and pushed doctors out of the country, so try not to get sick now”? Or “We imprison and torture for any civil activism, so now you have a lot of free time to stare at the wall and do nothing”?
There cannot be any positive agenda in the current conditions, so they are forced to come up with new subjects and phenomena to deal with. Moreover, sometimes in this competition they go out on their own and start eating each other, and this is also a normal development of such a system. Svetlana Varanytsa, the deputy chairwoman of the Horaden regional organization “Belaya Rus”, turned out to be dissatisfied with the work methods of Azaronka and Bondarova. In other realities, I would have thought that this was a call to humanism, but let’s be realistic – in 2023, there are no people left in “Belarus” who would care about humanism. Well, it is impossible to agree with tyranny as such, but at the same time be sincerely indignant that someone calls for this tyranny in some not polite ways. This is absurd!
And the explanation for such an absurdity is simple – people inside the system eventually run out of resources for external struggle (especially if they do not have enough imagination to see Nazism in the wall) and start fighting with each other. As he said, during the investigation, the most important thing is not to expose yourself. Lukashenka’s regime is coming out on its own, and this is hardly a good sign for him, because there are supposedly fewer and fewer options, against whom or what else to oppose. But this is wonderful news for us – let this snake burn itself.
