The operation of the line is made possible after the completion of the engineering project: “Keshet Modi’in”, which connects the city of Modi’in to the railway line to Jerusalem. The Minister of Transport and Road Safety, Merav Michaeli, said: “The new service is a leap forward in the ability to travel by public transport and by mass transit, which is a better and faster alternative to the private car. The train is the main transportation artery of the State of Israel and we work and work with full force to make it as accessible, accessible and fast as possible for you and yourselves. The processes take time, and sometimes involve damage to the service, but the upgrade we make in opening new lines and electrifying existing lines will significantly improve the service you and you receive. A good trip”.
