August is approaching, and with it, the last great technological presentation before the start of autumn. As every year, Samsung will rush the summer to hold an event’Unpacked‘ in which the firm, as expected, will show the user its new folding terminals. That is, the successors of the current Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The official announcement will take place on August 10 at 3:30 p.m. in mainland Spain. Although, for the moment – and it will be like this until the event is held – Samsung has not shared official data about its new family of folding terminals, leakers and analysts have been sharing information about the news that they will incorporate for months. Everything indicates that mobiles will be quite conservative compared to its predecessors marketed just over a year ago.
As we say, in principle, the next Samsung event will be destined to show two foldables: the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Fold 4. It is also likely that the technology company will show its next wireless headphones, the Galaxy Buds 3and the evolution of your smart watch, the presumed Galaxy Watch 5which would have a Pro version. At least, this is what the analysts point out and what makes the most sense, taking into account the technology’s way of proceeding during the past 2021.
Galaxy Z Flip 4
The Z Flip 4 will have a design that is practically traced to that of the previous model. That is, it will continue to fold as if it were a shell. Something that makes it a much more manageable terminal and easy to carry in your pocket when closed.
El Z Flip 3
According to the data recently shared by the leaker Yogesh Brar, the screen, open, would have not insignificant dimensions of 6.7 inches. It will be of the sAMOLED type with an FHD+ resolution and an image refresh rate on the screen of 120 Hz. It would have 8GB of RAM and versions of 128 and 256 GB of internal storage.
All in line with what is expected of a high-end terminal that will probably have a price above 1,500 euros.

Regarding the secondary screen, which the user can consult when the terminal is folded and is located next to the cameras, it would have a dimension of 2.1 inches. If we talk about the cameras, the mobile would sport two 12 MP sensors and one embedded in the main screen, for selfies and video conferences, of 10 MP.
The chip chosen by Samsung to bring the folding to life would be the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the most ambitious chip that Qualcomm currently has. The battery would go up to 3,700 mAh, which implies that, with normal use, the charge should last -hopefully- a whole day.
Galaxy Z Fold 4
The Z Fold 4 will have significantly larger dimensions than the Z Flip. Specifically, it is expected that the diagonal of the terminal, which opens thanks to a tab that crosses the panel lengthwise, reaches the 7.6 inches when the screen is displayed. The exterior would stay at 6.2, as shared by the leaker OnLeaks through his Twitter account.
El Z Fold 3
On the back, the terminal would have three cameras: a 50 MP main one, a 12 MP ultra wide angle and a 12 MP telephoto lens, according to Yogesh Brar. The front camera would offer a resolution of 10 MP.

The chip that it would mount, as in the case of the Z Flip, is the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Things change, however, in the battery, which in this case reaches 4,400 mAh, taking into account the one that the terminal will use of more energy than the Z Flip 4 due to the fact that the dimensions of its screens are superior, the autonomy, with luck, should also move in the day of normal use. The terminal would also be available in two versions differentiated by RAM (12/16 GB) and internal storage (256/512 GB).
Regarding the price, taking as a reference the launch of the present Fold 4, should go something above 1,800 euros.
