The official announcement for this new feature hasn’t been made yet,⁣ but WABetaInfo, a portal that tracks new ⁢WhatsApp features, ‌reports that the company is currently testing‍ it in⁣ the beta version 2.24.16.7 for Android. It’s only a matter of time before it rolls out to the ⁤public.

This new feature is already familiar to ⁤users of other social media platforms, and it’s sure to be a welcome addition to WhatsApp. With a simple double click, you⁤ can now easily express your agreement, joy, or any other emotion directly beneath the message.

While the feature is still in beta testing, it’s‌ expected⁢ to⁣ be available to all users in the near future. In the meantime, you can still react to messages using the‍ traditional emoji reactions. But with the new double-tap feature, expressing yourself will be faster and more intuitive than ever before.
