Surfers reported this evening (Wednesday) a glitch on WhatsApp and Instagram that lasted more than half an hour. Around the world and in Israel, it was not possible to receive and send messages on WhatsApp, or to connect to the interface of the messaging software on the computer. On Instagram, some surfers update that the feed is not loading for them, it is not possible to receive messages in the message interface and upload content to the story and page.
Last month, widespread failures were reported on Meta’s Facebook, Messenger, Threads and Instagram. According to the website Downdictor, surfers have informed about more than 300,000 failures on Facebook, and more than 47,000 failures in the connection to Instagram. In May, it was reported that about 200,000 Instagram accounts were disabled around the world and in Israel due to a glitch that was fixed after about two hours.
