WhatsApp in the news for iPhone users: these are the new features

According to the WABetaInfo website, the new version of WhatsApp for iPhone displays after selecting a message and clicking on “Delete for me” a kind of pop-up message at the bottom of the screen, which next to the confirmation of the deletion shows a cancellation option (“Undo”). The message is displayed for a few seconds, and allows you to regret the deletion of the message – or, more precisely, to delete it only from the sender’s side while usually, when you delete a message, you intend to select the “Delete for everyone” option. This option is expected to save users from this error which causes quite a bit of heartache.

According to Apple’s list of changes, the update also brings with it the options to add 512 people to the group instead of the previous limit of 256 people, delete messages for everyone for two days instead of a day, send files of 2 gigabytes in size and show only conversations in which there are unread messages. However, WABetaInfo notes that the latest features were added to the app a few days ago, and the company just bothered to mention it now.
