View Once (View Once) is a new feature in WhatsApp recently. This is a security feature that allows photos and videos to be viewed at once, just like the name implies. If we send a photo or video to someone, that person can see it only once by using this feature.
View Ones is similar to the feature that Telegram introduced called Disappearing Feature. The person receiving the message sent through the View Ones feature will automatically remove the photo or video after opening it. Features
- Sending pictures and videos will not be stored on the recipient’s phone
- These will no longer be visible in the sender’s chat.
- Images and videos sent via View Ones will not be shared with others.
- If not opened within 14 days of sending then it will not be visible.
How to use
- Click the File Attach button and select the photo / video to send.
- Once selected, you will see the View Once button 1 in the chat box below.
- Activate it and press the Cent button.
- In the chat, you can only see Photo as Video instead of Image instead of Video.
- If the recipient opens it, you will see that the file location is Opened.
- Once the recipient opens and closes the file, it will disappear from the phone and chat.

Although it is a security feature, there are some things to keep in mind.
- When sending files through View Ones, only send them to trusted people. This is because once opened, the files will be displayed on the screen until it closes.
- View Ones files are also backed up while chats are backed up. It can also be restored later. But backup files that have already been opened are not included in the backup.
- You can take screenshots of the files you send and take photos with other phones. You can only tell if the recipient of your file is open.
- Files sent via View Ones will be reported to WhatsApp’s Content Monitoring Division.
