This transcription facility has already been introduced in the office related software. Through this, in video calls or normal audio calls, the conversation of the other party is transcribed in written form and displayed on the screen.
You can choose different languages in this transcription facility. Based on the language you choose, the audio you hear will be transcribed. That means you need to change the WhatsApp transcription facility to whatever language your audio is in. Otherwise WhatsApp will not be able to transcribe that audio.
WhatsApp is yet to make a clear announcement that this feature will be rolled out to users anytime soon. This news has been published on WABetainfo, a social networking site that regularly provides information about WhatsApp.
