In order to pin a message, you need to press and hold it for a while, after which the “Pin” function will appear. It will be possible to pin messages for up to 30 days, but it will be possible to pin them for seven days, or even for a day. You can pin any message, image, survey or video. Group admins can make a pinned message visible only to other admins. According to WhatsApp developers, the new feature will help highlight important information without deviating from the main topic of the conversation.
Earlier, WhatsApp began testing a new feature that will allow iOS smartphone users to send photos and videos without compression. The application is also developing a function for logging into your profile using your email address.
