WhatsApp soon allows users to send messages to themselves No need for a secondary number, you can send a message to yourself

by time news
WhatsApp, the popular instant messaging app owned by Meta, is constantly introducing new and exciting features to enhance the overall experience of its users.

However, the current WhatsApp setting does not allow users to send messages to their own numbers. Now users can send messages to themselves using the URL wa.me/91 followed by their mobile number. But since this chat will only appear on the primary device with your own phone number, it won’t set up for multiple devices. However, WhatsApp is developing a solution for this. WaBetaInfo reports that the feature will allow WhatsApp users to send messages to themselves by searching for and tapping a personal chat in the contact list.

If this feature is updated it will help many users. Because sometimes many people are forced to remember certain important things. Although there is Notes app on mobile, most of the users don’t use it, instead they prefer to keep notes on WhatsApp-bill which they use to chat with friends or relatives throughout the day.

Because many users think that because they use WhatsApp for a long time, the text containing the important things whenever they use it, often catches the eye and can be remembered very easily. Meanwhile, Wabetainfo, which monitors and publishes information about all activities related to WhatsApp, has recently published information about this new update. Wabetainfo claims that the upcoming new feature will allow users to send messages to themselves without the need for another device.

Wabetainfo’s report says that if this feature is released, in the future WhatsApp desktop beta will be able to send messages to you by tapping on your personal chat while searching in the contacts list as already mentioned above. WhatsApp has yet to add support for another phone in a multi-device setup, but it’s in the works. WhatsApp is currently testing this feature in the desktop beta version. It is also said that this feature will be rolled out in beta versions for Android and iOS as well. So if you are using WhatsApp from your laptop or computer, you can see your name in the chat list in this future update.
