This is an option that may seem unnecessary for most users, since usually the language we have chosen as the language of the device is also the language in which we would like WhatsApp – but there are people for whom it is more convenient if the device is in English and the application is in Hebrew, Arabic or Russian. There are also people for whom the application is not available at all in the language in which their device works (Samsung’s version of the Android operating system, for example, supports almost 200 languages - more than three times as much as WhatsApp), so they could have found themselves until now “stuck” with WhatsApp by default, which is not comfortable for them. Now they will be able to choose from the list of languages supported by the application the one with which they get along best.

This update is the most significant that went out to all users of the application last week, but it is not the only one reported by the website WABetaInfo, which monitors every change in the popular service: Towards the end of the week, the beta versions of WhatsApp were changed – on Thursday on Android and on Friday on iPhone – so that at least some users now see Where there was until now the button to switch to the app’s built-in photo interface is a button leading to the communities screen, while the camera button moves to a new design and a new location, inside the search bar inside the app.
