#WhatsAppDown, episode 2. While a global blackout of more than two hours had touched WhatsApp last October, a bug of the same magnitude came to annoy users of the application on Wednesday evening. Shortly after 10 p.m. and for just under an hour, it was impossible to send or receive messages on the messaging service.
“We are working quickly to resolve the connectivity issues with WhatsApp and we will inform you here as soon as possible”, reacted WhatsApp on its Twitter account, while Internet users were already commenting massively on the outage on Elon Musk’s social network.

The DownDetector site, which reports in real time on the status of the services of several social networks and messaging applications such as Instagram, Messenger or Facebook, recorded a meteoric rise in outage reports on WhatsApp shortly after 10 p.m. Wednesday.
The outage began to end around 10:50 p.m., with users able to send and receive messages again.
