Messenger WhatsApp is developing a new feature, thanks to which it will be possible to use the application for a computer without pairing with a smartphone, writes Ubergizmo. The new function is available to those who have downloaded the beta version of the application.
If the phone has already been tied to a computer, then in the future it will be possible to use the PC version even if the phone is turned off or lost. At the moment, in the beta version for computers, it is still impossible to make calls or chat via video with users of older versions of WhatsApp, but they promise to fix this.
In September 2021, WhatsApp began developing the ability to run the app on multiple mobile devices at the same time. Also, the messenger may have the function of reporting individual messages within chats, and not just the user as a whole.
