Hogwarts Legacy is planning an early access launch and a regular launch. In both cases, its release times change depending on your gaming platform. We explain everything to you.

The launch of Hogwarts Legacy is imminent, an eventful release considering the number of fans of the Harry Potter universe. The game has also been at the top of sales for a few weeks, a good indicator of the expectations of players who will happily dive into this first open-world RPG in the Wizarding World. It must be said that Warner Games and Avalanche Software have prepared an extremely ambitious, beautiful and extremely respectful game for the universe that rocked our childhoods and adolescence. The game is scheduled for February 10, with an early access release for owners of the Deluxe version of the game. We take stock of the launch days and times of Hogwarts Legacy below.
Hogwarts Legacy Early Access kicks off on February 7, and has two different launch times whether you’re playing on console or PC. This launch is for owners of the Deluxe and Collector’s Editions of the game.
- PS5/Xbox Series : Tuesday, February 7 at 12:00 a.m.
- PC : Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 p.m.
For players who pre-ordered the Standard Edition of the game, the official release date is set for Friday, February 10. Again, game availability times vary depending on your gaming platform.

- PC : Friday, February 10 at 7:00 p.m.
To be able to launch Hogwarts Legacy from February 7, you must necessarily participate in its early access. To do this, there aren’t fifty different solutions, you must own the Deluxe or Collector’s Edition of the game. Both of these editions give you in-game cosmetics in addition to 72-hour early access, starting February 7. at midnight for console players, and at 7:00 p.m. for PC players. As a reminder, you will find the Deluxe Edition of Hogwarts Legacy for €84.99 on the Playstation Store for PS5 players, for €84.99 on Xbox Series on Amazon, and for €69.99 on Steam.
It will not have escaped you that Hogwarts Legacy has not one, nor two, but three different release dates. The game will first appear on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, before arriving on PS4 and Xbox One in early April and Nintendo Switch in late July. On all the platforms mentioned, there is a Deluxe version and a Collector’s version of the game which both promise early access to the game upon release. However, if the release of the game on PS4 and Xbox One is in doubt, which implies that the existence of early access to the game on these platforms is possible, the release of Hogwarts Legacy on Switch is extremely doubtful. In any case, Warner Games and Avalanche Software will have to find ways to adapt the ambition of their RPG to the capabilities of the small hybrid console.
