The Chileans are resuming their activity on the ATP circuit and are starting the hard court season with their focus on the US Open.
After completing his participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Alejandro Tabilo (21st ATP) and Nicolas Jarry (24th) resume activity on the ATP circuit this Tuesday with their respective debuts in the Masters 1000 de Montreal.
The Canadian competition will be held from August 6-12which will mark the start of the cement season ahead of the fourth Grand Slam of the year: the US Open.
Under this context, Tabilo and Jarry will have tough rivals in the first round of the Montreal Masters 1000. The first national racket will face the American Frances Tiafoe (27°). For his part, El Príncipe will play against the Argentine Thomas Etcheverry (38th). If he beats the trans-Andean, the Chilean will have to face the Russian Andrey Rublev (8°)who was granted a free pass in the first round of the tournament.

Tabilo will face Tiafoe this Tuesday, August 6th, not before 8:30 p.m. (from Chile). While Jarry will do the same against Etcheverry at around 2:00 p.m.
