Anees Bazmee is counted among the big filmmakers of Bollywood and he has given many blockbuster comedy films. However, there was a time in Anees Bazmee’s career when he had to work as a junior artist to earn his living. The condition was such that the entire family had to live in a small room. Anees Bazmee talked about her financial crisis and struggle in an interview given to ‘Mashable India’. He told that he had to change houses frequently. And once thieves had beaten up Anees Bazmee because he did not have money to give them.

During the conversation, Anees Bazmee recalled the time when he lived in Malwani Nagar, Mumbai and he was robbed there at midnight. He said, ‘Those streets used to be very deserted. I was once robbed at knife point. He beat me because I had no money. I didn’t have anything that he could steal, so he beat me. There were five-six people. I didn’t oppose it because I didn’t think it was safe.

The whole family lived in a small room
Anees Bazmee then recalled the days of poverty and struggle, saying, ‘We seven to eight people used to live in a good room, which is why we are so close as a family, because we did not have space then. There was no space to even change sides while sleeping.
