Within the current week, the platform opens for submissions application to the beneficiaries of voucher to participate nurseries NSRF from EETAA, and for the access of school-age children, teenagers and people with disabilities, to creative employment services for the period 2024-2025, as announced by the Minister of Social and Family Cohesion, Sofia Zaharakis, in a television interview.
The program for day care centers through the NSRF is for mothers in the private and public sector and is aimed at thousands of children and both public and private day care providers can participate, with the condition that the person’s tax return who will submit the Application.
As the Minister pointed out, “the budget, which is increased this year and will reach 361.2 million euros, will be directed to more than 173,500 beneficiary parents of all structures, such as nurseries (age from 2 months to 4 years), Creative Employment Centers . and for disabled children. “This year we are making sure that more children than ever are covered in the Creative Employment Centres. Also, this year, for the first time, increased points are awarded to families with three children, multiple children and single parents. So, instead of the 40 points they got last year, they will get 50 points this year,” he said.
Regarding the income criterion, the Minister indicated that “depending on the number of children, it starts from 27,000 euros and reaches up to 42,000 euros, to cover all categories of structures with a full voucher. The vouchers depend on the category from 2,612 euros to 5,000 euros, per child, for those belonging to KDAP-Persons with Disabilities”.
Who are the beneficiaries of the voucher?
- Mothers of infants, toddlers and children, as well as mothers of infants, children, teenagers and people with disabilities
- People (women and men) who have been granted custody of children by court decision or men who are widowed,
- Individuals (women and men) who have been appointed as legal guardians or exercise custody of the guardian by court order or who wish to enroll their children in structures that provide care and accommodation for infants, toddlers, children, adolescents and people with disabilities, in order to ensure that they have equal access to work, by providing quality services, together with equal access of vulnerable groups to quality social services.
At the same time, in relation to the public program, employees who are employees, permanent and indefinite, of the State, of the NPDD as well as the OTAs (first and second grade) will have the right.
Tparticipation criteria
It is recalled that program participants had to meet the following criteria:
A. Children of families with the following annual income are entitled to participate in all structures with full voucher value. Analytically:
- there is up to 27,000 euros per year for those with up to 2 children
- there is up to 30,000 euros per year for those with 3 children.
- up to 33,000 euros per year for those with 4 children,
- there is up to 36,000 euros per year for those with 5 or more children.
B. For structure categories A and B, a voucher is provided on the condition that the family’s annual income is:
- it is up to 33,000 euros per year for those with 2 children.
- there is up to 36,000 euros per year for those with 3 children.
- up to 39,000 euros per year for those with 4 children
- up to 42,000 euros per year for those with 5 or more children.
