Mohini said that in the thirteen years she has been away from cinema, she has seen only four Malayalam films and that she would go back to them when her partner watches a Malayalam film. Speaking to Behindwoods, Mohini said that she misses not only the film but also the life in Kerala.
“I rarely watch Malayalam movies. I have seen only four films in the last thirteen years. If my husband is watching a Malayalam movie, I am going to sleep. Because I miss Malayalam cinema so much. I miss not only Malayalam cinema but also life in Kerala.
If I get a chance to do a good film, I will definitely do it. It’s just saying that you shouldn’t act after marriage. My eldest son grew up. So is the little son. I think this is the right time to do something in film.
Malayalam language is in my blood. My maternal grandmother hails from Kottayam. And most of my husband’s family members are from Kerala. All of them speak Malayalam. But they are all townspeople. That’s why we speak mostly in Malayalam,’ said Mohini.
