Actress Rashmika Mandana reacts emotionally to the trolls and negativity that followed her from the beginning of her film career.

Actress Rashmika Mandana is now progressing with great films in her career. Rashmika starrer Pushpa, Seetharamam and Good Bye have all garnered a lot of attention in recent times. After making her debut in Bollywood too, Rashmika is known as ‘National Crush’ among her fans. But Rashmika has been talking about some things that have been troubling her for a few weeks now.

“Some things have been bothering me for the past few days, weeks, months, maybe years, and I think it’s time to address them. I speak only for myself – this is something I should have done years ago.

“Since I started my career I have been receiving a lot of hate. Seems like a punching bag that literally takes a lot of trolls and negativity. I know that there is a price to pay for the life I have chosen – I realize that I am not everyone’s ‘cup of tea’ and I cannot be loved by everyone. That doesn’t mean you can throw negativity at me instead because you don’t approve of me. “

“Only I know what work I do every day to make you all happy. I care about the joy you feel from the work I have done. I try my best to do things that you and I can be proud of. But some things break my heart and honestly frustrate me, especially when the internet mocks and trolls me for things I don’t say.”

“I found some of the things I said in interviews backfired on me. Misrepresentations spread across the internet can be very damaging to me and my relationships within and outside of the industry. I welcome constructive criticism as it only motivates me to improve and be better. But why so much negativity and hate? I have been ignoring it for a long time, but it has gotten worse and worse. By addressing this point, I am not trying to beat anyone. But I don’t want to be forced to become a human again because of this hate I’m getting. I recognize and accept all the love I receive from you. Your constant love and support is what kept me going and gave me the courage to come out and say this.”

“I will work hard and do better for you. Because like I said, making you happy makes me happy. Be kind to everyone. We are all trying to do our best. Thank you,” Rashmika noted.

Many people including actor Dulquer Salmaan have come in support of Rashmika. “Love comes from those who want to be like you. Hate comes from those who never make it. Be yourself! You are amazing!,” Dulquer noted.

“Don’t worry when people who don’t know you hate you, I’m sure people who know you will never hate you. Go strong and spread positivity,” noted director Venky Kudumula.

Rashmika made her Bollywood debut recently. Rashmika acted opposite Amitabh Bachchan in the Bollywood film Goodbye. Rashmika’s upcoming films include Pushpa: The Rule, Animal with Ranbir Kapoor and Warisu with Vijay.
