The technical team in charge of the mission has not yet commented on when Artemis could take off. For the time being, in the absence of assessing the seriousness of the damage detected, the experts argue that the next release window would open the September 2 from 18:30 (Spanish peninsular time). If the experts manage to fix the damage to the rocket by then, the definitive takeoff of the lunar mission could take place on Friday. Otherwise, the maiden flight of Artemis could be postponed sine die. In fact, it cannot be ruled out that the rocket may have to be returned to the assembly center for in-depth analysis.
