Where are the viewers on the CW Network?

by time news

Msometimes good news backfires. A few weeks ago, LIV Golf proudly announced that it had finally found a channel that broadcasts its tournaments live in CW Network, which is only number 25 in the ranking of American TV stations. Now fans on social media are making fun of the number of viewers: According to the catastrophic Nielson Rating, only 0.2 percent of households saw the pictures of the first tournament of the year last weekend in Mexico. Even a documentary about the funniest animals got more viewers on the CW.

Perhaps that was also due to the fact that Charles Howell III, who was largely unknown to most sports fans, won. That shouldn’t matter to the 43-year-old American, because he received the biggest prize money of his career at the Mayakoba Resort. The professional from Augusta (Georgia) received four million dollars (almost 3.8 million euros) for his victory in the individual classification. Since Howell III also won the team classification with Crushers GC, which also included his compatriot Bryson DeChambeau, the Englishman Paul Casey and the Indian Anirban Lahiri, there was another $750,000 (around €711,000) for each of these four.
