The DANA announced for last week that it was not as severe as feared in most of the affected areas. In some places it did serious damage, but in most it was just a Danita.
DANA is an acronym for “remote high-level depression of the atmosphere.” The term is relatively young in our everyday vocabulary, it became widespread a few years ago, and has not yet entered the academic dictionary. Yes, a synonym we used more than now is done: fall cold. The Dictionary defines it as “A mass of air which is released from a very cold current and descends upon another of warm air, producing great disturbances in the atmosphere accompanied by very heavy precipitation.”

In the past, we gave a political course in the press hot autumnespecially if there was a rally in the street. We still don’t know the opposition’s mobilization schedule, but I don’t think it will take long to find out.
