The Chennai Economic Offenses Division registered a case against 14 directors of the company and 5 companies operating under the name of Arudra. As part of the investigation, 8 people have been arrested, including Harish, a state secretary of BJP’s sports wing, and executive of the company, Malathi. A case has been registered against a total of 21 people so far, including directors Bhaskar, Mohanbabu, Senthilkumar, and Nagaraj. Actor Rousseau, who worked as an agent in Kanchipuram area, has also been arrested. In the trial, he revealed that RK Suresh took Rs 12 crore from him to exonerate himself from the case using his influence in the central government. RK Suresh appears to have fled to Dubai and has not been in India for the past two months. If he does not cooperate with the investigation, the police will issue him a lookout notice and take him in for questioning.
