- “We remind the population, according to the current data we have, this disease does not seem to be a disease that is spread from person to person, which is why we call on you to remain calm and continue to obtain information through the official channels of the Ministry of Health,” explained the Vice Minister of Health Regulation, Surveillance and Control, César Conde.
What you should know. In the country, the portfolio authorities count 39 confirmed cases, 30 of them were detected by the Guatemalan Social Security Institute (IGSS), and the remaining 9 were identified in public hospitals.
