Where were the members of the WCC when Innocent died? Responded by Ramya Nambeesan

by time news

Malayalam’s favorite star Innocent, who has been a fixture in Malayalam cinema for the past four decades, recently bid farewell. Innocent passed away on March 26. All the colleagues and fans including Mammootty and Mohanlal came to see the actor for the last time.

But Didi Damodaran, screenwriter and member of WCC, came out criticizing Innocent. Didi’s words were that despite the pain of Innocent’s death, there is no forgiveness for the star who disrespected Atijivi.

After this, WCC members did not come to see Innocent and it was full of discussions. Actress Ramya Nambeesan has now responded to the question whether Innocent’s death was boycotted by WC. The actor responded in an interview to FilmiBeat.

‘Did you hear that when Innocent died, the WCC members were not there and did not lay the wreath?’ Ramya Nambeeshan’s answer to the question is no. Ramya jokingly says, ‘I don’t listen to certain things.’

Director Shruti Saranyam also responded on this issue. “Isn’t that a very personal matter, so there may be disagreements and agreements with it. It has nothing to do with this,” said the director.
