Where will Netanyahu hide in the event of an Iranian response?

by times news cr

Israelis are anxiously following the daily publications about the Iranian threat to launch attacks in the coming days, and perhaps hours, amid the circulation of several scenarios about how Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his family will take shelter.

According to the Israeli news website Walla, Netanyahu and his family are planning to enter the “senior commanders’ bunker” in the Jerusalem mountains, in anticipation of any Iranian attack.

The bunker is known as the National Crisis Management Center and is located deep underground in the Jerusalem area.

The shelter is intended for use by senior government and military officials, and is a site for the country’s administration in emergencies.

The sources confirmed that the Prime Minister’s wife, Sara, and his son, Yair, are considering the possibility of staying there if the attack begins.

In response to these reports, the Prime Minister’s Office denied the news, saying: “Fake news. It never happened and it will never happen.”

Israel is preparing for a “multi-front” attack that will put its defense system under great strain, especially with Iran’s emphasis on seeking to “punish Israel,” in addition to its arms continuing to prepare for retaliatory operations, following the assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran, and prominent Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr in Beirut.

Analysts and observers believe that Israelis are used to dealing with such difficult times, especially since the October 7 attack, as they have taken many preventive measures by building shelters even inside their homes, and some have traveled abroad, but at the same time they fear an escalation with no end in sight.
