If PTI does, then there should be no ban, but if PTI does not adopt a political attitude, then the government has the authority to take any decision. Meanwhile, Qami Watan Party Chairman Aftab Sherpao while commenting on the news regarding the ban on PTI termed it as unpolitical and undemocratic behavior. Aftab Sherpao said that in the view of the Qaumi Watan Party, the country will not only suffer from political instability, but its economic situation is also feared to worsen.
He further said that this type of decision will spread political chaos in the country which will be harmful for the country and the nation. Hasty decisions do not yield positive results. Political opposition should be limited to the political field and a single political party. Aftab Sherpao further said that the rulers should focus on the country’s economic crisis, law and order situation, solving public problems and problems and improving their performance.
On the other hand, the Awami National Party has called the government’s decision to ban PTI childish. On the government’s decision, Awami National Party’s central spokesperson Engineer Ehsanullah Khan said that the federal government’s decision to ban PTI is childish. And it is unwise, the path of political parties cannot be blocked by restrictions and obstacles. Political differences with Tehreek-e-Insaaf have their place but this move by the government will be stupid, Muslim League is repeating everything that PTI is doing between 2018 and 2022. He said that now the PML-N is riding, its destiny is nothing but sinking, these infamous plays and musical cheer shows in the name of politics will have to be stopped in any case.
The spokesperson said that the Awami National Party demands a Truth and Reconciliation Commission for a complete investigation of all matters. The situation is not acceptable, the Awami National Party cannot support fascism and authoritarian attitudes in any way.
