Madrid has not spoken. Nor has it issued any statement. Neither has Florentino Pérez been seen or heard. But the white club’s response to Joan Laporta’s criticism for his position in the Negreira case (“it is the Regime’s team, it has carried out an unprecedented exercise in cynicism,” denounced the Barca leader) has come through a singular path . He has used a video initially broadcast by Real Madrid TV, which minutes later was retweeted by the official channels of the white club.
A long video, four and a half minutes long, which begins with a phrase: “Which was the Regime’s team?” Madrid asks before introducing Laporta’s phrases at the press conference where he has addressed the Negreira case.

The white club answered in this way, also resorting to a phrase from its former president Santiago Bernabeu. “When I hear that Madrid has been the team of the Regime…”, has indicated the entity chaired by Florentino Pérez, who already visualized this distance with Laporta when he decided not to go to the Camp Nou box.
