Looking forward to knowing the Lions of the 2021 edition, with Italy hoping for the film by Paolo Sorrentino ‘It was the hand of God’ and in the performances of Toni Servillo both in Sorrentino’s film and in that of Mario Martone, where he stars in the role of Eduardo Scarpetta, the protagonists of the closing film which will be screened after the awards ceremony and the proclamation of the 2021 Golden Lion.
This year the closing film is Italian: ‘The hidden child’ by Roberto Went with Silvio Orlando in the role of a lonely piano teacher at the Naples conservatory who decides to protect the teenage son of his neighbors from the violence of crime.
