In the world of work, any person who becomes aware of facts likely to constitute a criminal, environmental or competitive offense is encouraged to make a report to a public authority. The whistleblower is protected by law, which requires the creation of a system for collecting information in administrations and an internal procedure in companies with more than 50 employees. In the absence of a channel specific to his organization, or if recourse to it has not triggered an investigation within the company, the employee or manager must therefore notify an administrative authority.
