CHARLESTON, S.C. – Two players from the Charleston men’s soccer team have earned spots on the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I Players to watch List. Ezra White was recognized as a midfielder, adn Noah Gold was honored as a defender.

Cougars dominate CAA Recognitions

Charleston stands out in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) with two of the three players named from the conference. This recognition highlights the team’s talent and potential for the upcoming season.

Did you know? The CAA is a competitive conference, and having two players on the watch list is a notable achievement for Charleston.

White returns for his fourth year, bringing valuable experience to the pitch. In his junior season, he played in all 18 games and was named to the All-CAA Second Team. White played a crucial role in the team’s qualification for the CAA Tournament. He led the conference in assists with 10, a number that also ranked him fourth nationally.

Gold enters his second year with the Cougars after transferring. He competed in 16 games last season,contributing five goals and one assist. Notably, Gold scored the game-winning goal against conference rival Campbell.
