Dare joys and tears. This weekend from April 29 to 30 was rich in emotions, with on the one hand a white march in memory of Rose, a five-year-old girl killed in the Vosges, and on the other a Coupe de France final marked with a flurry of goals. On the international side, the violence is not abating in Ukraine, where the city of Nova Kakhovka has been targeted. And for many of you, the weekend is not over as tomorrow, Monday May 1st, we will celebrate Labor Day.

  • Vosges: hundreds of people pay tribute to Rose

Four days after the murder of little Rose, five years old, in the Vosges, nearly 600 people gathered on Saturday April 29 to pay tribute to her. In front of the family’s house, dozens of flowers were placed, as well as large portraits of the little girl. Rose was found in a bag in an apartment just a few hundred meters from the family home. A 15-year-old man was arrested at the scene and taken into custody. He was already indicted for rape of a minor for facts dating back to last year. He was again charged and remanded in custody.
