White morning to the mountains of Judea, Samaria and the north. Where do you study and will the snow continue?

Residents of northern, Judea and Samaria woke up this morning (Thursday) to white streets covered with a thin layer of snow. In the morning the snow stopped and in most parts of the country the rain will also weaken during the day, but the cold and low temperatures will remain here at least for the next few days.

Lior Sudri, a forecaster for the Meteo Tech company, said that today is cloudy to partly cloudy, in the morning it is still possible to drip until light rain. It will be colder than usual for the season. A severe cold is expected at night, especially in the mountains and inland.

The Gush Etzion Regional Council informed the residents that classes will begin as usual this morning, after video that the roads allow safe driving. In the capital Jerusalem, it was decided last night to postpone the start of the school day to 9:00 in order to avoid traveling during hours when it may be cold on the roads.

Also, the snow that fell tonight in the high settlements of Benjamin turned to ice. Due to this, the head of the council, Israel Ganz, decided that studies in all educational institutions will begin at 9:00 in the localities of Ofra, Psagot, and the localities of Gush Shilo. In other localities of the council the studies are as usual. Transportation to study in these localities will depart about an hour later than usual.

On Binyamin Roads, traffic is currently blocked on Road 60 between Givat Assaf and Ofra, as well as between Ofra and Wadi Harmiya. In the settlements of Givot Shilo, too, the roads are blocked for traffic.

Similarly it was announced that there was a danger of slipping on the arteries leading to Mount Canaan and the Northern Command. In these minutes another round of salt scattering takes place on the road. In the northern localities, studies begin this morning as usual, except for the northern Golan localities, where the schools will be closed today. Also, in the northern Golan they announced that a number of roads are blocked, police roadblocks are taking place at the following points:
Road 999 Sion Junction to the north. Road 98 Bashan Junction to the north. Road 91 Kedmat Zvi junction to the north. Road 959 from Gonen Junction to West Junction. Residents were asked to avoid traveling as much as possible.
