This fact marks a before and after for this musical genre, since styles and artists more closely linked to reggaeton and trap predominate on the well-known platform.
The song that reached this prominent position is By your side, a single that was released by Entremares in 2017. This Chilean group has become popular for its romantic cuecas, and its success on Spotify came hand in hand with the week of Fiestas Patrias celebrations.
