Former companion of Osama Bin Laden, Christian Ganczarski was recently sentenced to twenty years in prison for the attack, in 2018, of four guards of the prison of Vendin-le-Vieil (Pas-de-Calais). On the verge of being extradited to the United States, the jihadist, who wanted to stay on French soil at all costs, was inspired by one of his fellow prisoners. Abdell Nkaibi, 41, was then also imprisoned in solitary confinement in Vendin. He is what is called, in legal jargon, a “prison offender”.
