The company’s revenue from operations in the first quarter stood at Rs 5379 crore. At the same time, it was Rs 3664 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the net loss for the period stood at Rs 1191 crore, while the profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs 182 crore. The company said in the filing that the company’s operational earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) stood at Rs 1628 crore in the quarter, up 29.7 per cent year-on-year. The company said that the adjusted PAT for the period stood at Rs 315 crore, up 73 per cent over the same period last year. The filing said that the company’s revenue grew by 47 per cent due to the recently commissioned Warora Kurnool, Karur, Kharghar-Vikhroli and Khavda-Bhuj transmission lines. It received contributions from higher energy consumption and smart metering business at Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) and MUL.
