Ibrahim Aqil is:
- He was born on December 24, 1962 in the town of Bednayel in the Baalbek district, and was assassinated by Israel in 2024.
- He held several positions in the party, the last of which was the leader of the Military Council, succeeding “Fouad Shukr.”
- Founder and Commander of the Radwan Force in Hezbollah
- Ibrahim Aqil, also known as Tahseen, is the second man in Hezbollah.
- He is a member of the “Jihad Council”.
- It is the highest military council affiliated with Hezbollah.
- According to the US State Department website, “Aqil” also managed the kidnapping of American and German hostages in Lebanon in the 1980s and their detention there.

The death toll from yesterday’s Israeli bombing of a residential neighborhood in the southern suburb of Beirut rose to 14 dead and 66 others injured.
