Rimini, 16 July 2024 – Heads in the investigation of the mysteries of Rimini. At dawn this morning Louis Dassilva was arrestedneighbor of Pierina Paganelli and the only person investigated for his murder. The 78-year-old was brutally killed with 29 stab wounds on the night of October 3, 2023 in the garage of the condominium where he lived in via del Ciclamino. The investigating judge ordered preventive detention in prison for the alleged murderer, the reason being the love relationship he had with his daughter-in-law Pierina, Manuela Bianchi.

Who is Louis Dassilva
Louis Dassilva He is a 34-year-old metal worker from Senegal. With his wife Valeria Bartolucci lives on the same landing on the third floor, where there are also the apartments Manuela Bianchi (her alleged lover) and her husband Giuliano Saponi and the one belonging to Pierina Paganelli, in condominium i through the Ciclamino 31 in Rimini.
The register of people under investigation for the murder remained empty for at least 8 months, only one name was registered there: Louis.

The love affair with Manuela
What immediately stood out during the investigations was the extramarital relationship between Louis and Manuela. A subject that some people were also interviewed, for example two friends of Bianchi, who confirmed that it was not a simple ‘story’, but true infatuation from both sides.
The hypotheses examined the possibility that Pierina knew that secret flirt – according to some, it continued even after the murder – or that he was currently suspected of another man in the life of his son Giuliano’s wife.
Bloody clothes of the suspect
But the fact that most of all probably did not solve the doubt on the Louis’ presumed guilt (despite the fact that his wife Valeria always confirmed her husband’s alibi, namely that he was in the house with her when Pierina was murdered) is the subject of bloody clothes.
Dassilva was allegedly handed over to the investigators on October 10, 2023. The clothes he was later wearing on the day of the murder were not. In the second seizure, police recovered a pair of shoes and trousers, which Louis and his wife have repeatedly confirmed are the clothes the 33-year-old was wearing on October 2, the day of his accident motorcycles. But the investigators suspected that the clothes seized were precisely those worn by Senegal on October 3, the day the crime was committed.
The discrepancies about his physical health
Then investigators found discrepancies on the Dassilva’s physical condition before and after the day Pierina was killed. As Louis first told the mobile agents, a significant limp it would be there direct consequence of the accident on a motorcycle that happened the day before the murder. And since he was in pain from the accident, Louis would be at home that night watching a movie with his wife Valeria.
