He caused a big upset by defeating top seed and world number 378 player Ionel Nicholas David 4-6, 7-6(5), 7-5 in the quarterfinals of ITF F13 in Romania. The Indian player achieved this victory in the match held on Thursday. 16-year-old Manas Dhamane is currently ranked 1213th in the world. He won after saving three match points in the third set.
