The 76-year-old French depth expert holds the record for dives to the Titanic, with more than thirty explorations at a depth of 3800 m.
He is one of the best specialists in the world of the Titanic. Paul-Henri Nargeolet, 76, was aboard the Titan submarine on June 18 when he was reported missing. He had agreed to work for the company OceanGate, which operates the submarine, in order to accompany wealthy tourists to a depth of 4000 m to observe the wreck of the liner which sank in 1912.
