Limor Buzaglo has been appointed Vice President of Human Resources at El Al. This is the second appointment of the new CEO of El Al, Dina Ben Tal Genensia. For the past five years, Buzaglo has served as head of the Human Resources Division under VP Yehudit Grisero, who recently announced her retirement. Limor Buzaglo (52), married with three children, holds a master’s degree in public policy and a bachelor’s degree in Orientalism (both from Bar Ilan University).
In recent weeks, Buzaglo has been dealing with the company’s pilots over the dispute that arose between the management and the pilots. This controversy is leading to flight cancellations on a daily basis in the face of flight manning challenges, particularly to destinations in Europe. El Al pilots are demanding a return to the level of wages they earned before the corona, which was cut by 31% (in base wages) as part of El Al’s streamlining moves. The change in wages enshrined in a collective agreement valid until 2026 at the end of which will be refunded to pilots only from the said cut.
In addition, the pilots want to part with the General Committee of El Al employees affiliated with the Histadrut and move to operate as an independent bargaining unit (similar to most pilots’ organizations in the world). The dispute between the parties even reached the Labor Court after he asked for an order against the pilots, but her request was denied. El Al detailed in its application to the court the damage caused to it in light of the cancellations of the multiple flights, when it even claimed that the company’s pilots endangered the company’s existence. The tribunal demanded that the parties sit down for intensive negotiations, the proceedings of which would be reported to the tribunal judges every few days.

Appointments also to El Al’s Frequent Flyer Club, Lilach Ben Artzi Levy has been appointed VP of Marketing and Digital of El Al’s Frequent Flyer Club and Play Card. Ben Artzi Levy served in her last position as director of the digital department of Maccabi Health Services. Prior to that, she held various positions at Bezeq International, Cellcom, Migdal and more. Ben Artzi Levy (46), resident of Ramat Gan, married and mother of two holds a bachelor’s degree in communications (Open University).
El Al’s frequent flyer club, which has about 2 million members, of which about 350,000 hold Play Arad credit cards. The club is registered as a separate business unit from El Al for the purpose of raising capital through it.
