The Ministry of Education’s Start Cup youth championship is a program that brings elementary and high school students closer to the real world of entrepreneurship, through learning and self-experience in authentic processes of developing an idea into a product. The Kiryat HaNuchun Amihai Amit, the Hamer Amit, Madadim and Ort – qualified for the national semi-finals, out of 500 competitors across the country

The program helps students advance ideas into an applicable and meaningful product, while learning skills relevant to the reality of the changing world of employment.

As part of the championship, the students promote their idea and at the end of the competition submit the product for examination by the leading venture capital funds in Israel who will examine the students’ ventures.
The competition is open to all students studying in grades 9-12.

These days, the program reached the semi-final stage: over 5,000 students from all over the country registered for the competition, over 500 executive summaries were received, and only 90 of them moved on to the semi-final stage.
Of these, only 15 of them will reach the grand final!
