The jury of the 30th anniversary František Filipovský Awards in Přelouč awarded the actors Eliška Balzerová, Slávka Hozová, Petr Štěpánek and Pavel Rímský for their long-term contribution to dubbing. She also singled out the dubbers Victoria Prokešová and Lukáš Hlavica.
According to the evaluators, the best female acting dubbing performance was performed by Felicita Victoria Prokešová for the role of Aši in the film Wishes. The award for the best male performance goes to Lukáš Hlavica for his role as Oscar Wilde in the film Prisoner No. C33, which was shown by Czech Television.
The jury’s special award for children’s dubbing performance under the age of 15 went to Valentýna Bečková for her role as Hedvig in the film Suprákovi. The award for dubbing sound was won by the film The Poet of Sad Tones, directed by Jana Stejskálova, which was shown on Czech Television.
The film The Poet of Sad Tones also received the prize for the extraordinary dubbing of an audiovisual work. The creators of the Czech-language version of the series There Are Lights That We Don’t See, directed by Gustav Bubník, received the trophy for the dubbing of the TV series, which was presented by Netflix. Author Anthony Doerr won the Pulitzer Prize for the book design.
The award for translation and editing of a dubbed audiovisual work goes to Zuzana Josková and Pavlína Vojtová for the film Prisoner number C33. The film Between the Elements, directed by Jiří Sádek, takes home laurels for the dubbing of television or film images of animated and children’s works. For sound in the dubbing, Guillermo Teillier and Martin Večeřa were awarded for their work on the film Přání.
The best dubbing art was evaluated by an expert jury for 115 proposals from 42 entered competition films. The highest number of proposals came together in the acting categories.
Awards for the best dubbing named after the actor František Filipovský have been awarded in Přelouč since 1995. Filipovský, who was born here, was called the king of dubbing, his voice belonged to the French comedian Louis de Funes, he also voiced, for example, Baba Jaga from the Russian Mrázik.
