Roxanna Delgado Trujillo, 32 years old, was found lifeless and tied by the neck and hands to a tree in the eastern hills of Bogotá, on the afternoon of Thursday, December 14, 2023.

In the last few hours, it was learned that the transgender woman was from Barrancabermeja, Santander. Apparently, according to close friends of hers, Roxxana would have had to leave her hometown for Bogotá two years ago due to threats in the Oil Port.

One of her friends, who wanted to keep her identity confidential, indicated that she had reported the threats of which she had been a victim, which is why she had chosen to reside in the capital of Colombia.

“We were in contact and she said that she was fine in Bogotá, that she had no problems living there. Some altercation with neighbors, but nothing relevant. So for us this is very strange. “We are floored,” she added.

Despite the threats that the woman had received, it is unknown if these were the causes of the homicide. The authorities are investigating the motives for this incident.
