After the many attacks, Goldberg officially apologized on her Twitter account: “In today’s program, I said that ‘the Holocaust is not about race, but about a person’s inhumanity towards another person.’ I should say it has to do with both things. “The Holocaust dealt with the systematic extermination of Jews by the Nazis – who saw them as an inferior race. I have always supported Jews around the world, and that will never change. I am sorry for the pain I caused. The letter was written with my most sincere apology, Whoopi Goldberg.”
Hi @TheView,
I am a Holocaust survivor in NYC. I might be 88-years-old but I have the energy to come on your show and talk to @WhoopiGoldberg and all the girls about the Holocaust.
I think we can have a meaningful conversation together and heal wounds. DM me!
Love,

Remember, Whoopi Goldberg was born Karin Johnson, and initially came out with her stage name, which consists of a Jewish surname, because her mother told her she would not succeed in Hollywood if she did not have a Jewish name. Goldberg has starred in successful films such as “Star Trek” and “Ghost”, and has dubbed hits such as “The Lion King”, “Toy Story” and “Ninja Turtles”.
