‘Who’s got sixes like me? No one? And why should I hand over the strike?’

In the last day’s India-South Africa ODI match, India won on the strength of Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer’s excellent batting performance. Shreyas Iyer scored 113 runs while Ishan Kishan was dismissed for 93 runs.

Ishan Kishan led the innings forward with one down when the openers came to the tent. There were four fours and seven sixes in the player’s innings.

Kishan said he was happy with India’s victory despite missing out on a well-deserved century.

After the star’s power-packed hard-hitting performance, he was asked about the strike rotation. But Ishan Kishan said that he prefers to play attacking sixes and is not interested in strike rotation.

“Hitting sixes is my greatest strength. No one can do it like I do.

The strength of some players is to rotate the strike. But mine are big actresses. If I am doing it without any problem then why hand over the strike?,’ asks Ishan Kishan.

But in some cases it is better to rotate the strike, he says.

‘Sometimes the best option is to rotate the strike. I am practicing for it. I was just seven runs away from the century. But I played according to the situation,’ added Ishan Kishan.

Ishan Kishan is all set to repeat the same performance in the series decider on Tuesday.

Both the teams are sure to put up a good fight as the team that wins the match in Delhi can win the series.
