It is reported that Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani has booked the 7-star Stoke Park Hotel till September for the post-wedding celebrations of his son and daughter-in-law. Celebrities like Prince Harry and Boris Johnson are expected to attend it. Stoke Park is a luxurious hotel spread over 300 acres in Buckinghamshire. It has a luxurious mansion, several golf courses and tennis courts. Reliance Industries (RIL) bought this hotel on lease in 2021 for 5.70 crore pounds (about Rs 614 crore). Since then it was closed to the general public. However, members of the Ambani family have been coming and going here. There are many other features of this hotel. Let’s know about them here. According to The Sun report, Mukesh Ambani has booked the seven-star Stoke Park Hotel till September. This is the same hotel property that Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance bought three years ago for 57 million pounds. Stoke Park has been the shooting location for two James Bond films.
The hotel is built on 300 acres
Stoke Park is in Buckinghamshire. Set amongst 300 acres of parkland, the hotel has 49 luxurious bedrooms and suites, a 27-hole championship golf course, 13 tennis courts and 14 acres of private gardens. It has been attracting wealthy tourists from all over the world. Although the Stoke Park estate has a recorded history of over 900 years, it was used as a private residence as late as 1908.
Entry of common people was banned
After the hotel was leased, it was closed for the general public. However, members of the Ambani family have been coming and going here. Local people and the council had objected to the hotel being opened only for the Ambani family. According to the lease rules, it should be used as a commercial property. In such a situation, now Mukesh Ambani has booked the entire hotel for two months.
Prince Harry, Boris Johnson and Tony Blair and his wife Cherie Blair are expected to attend the celebrations at the hotel. A source told The Sun, “The Ambani family leaves no stone unturned. That is why they have booked the entire hotel for two months.” Many famous personalities from around the world are expected to attend this wedding.
