Bhagyaraj is a leading actor and director in Tamil cinema. No one can handle his story and screenplay style so easily. Like him, his son Shantanu is trying to make a name for himself in cinema. His last film, Kasata Thapara, was critically acclaimed.
He is currently working on the upcoming film ‘Drumstick Chips’. Directed by newcomer Sreejar, the film stars Athulya Ravi opposite Chandanu. Also K. Bhagyaraj, Manopala, Anandraj, Myilsami, Yogi Babu have played the lead roles.
It has evolved into a full-fledged romantic comedy film. The film, which had not been released for a long time due to the Corona threat, is currently preparing for release. The film is set to release in theaters on December 10.
While it was said to be a family celebration film, the film was given an ‘A’ rating on the sensor, much to the shock of many. Only people over the age of 18 are allowed to view the film as it is A-certified.
In a recent interview, actor Chandanu revealed the reason for giving A certificate to ‘Drumstick Chips’. He said: “The film focuses on the first night between a newlywed couple. But there is no pornography in it. The sensor is A-certified only because it has double meaning verses. ”
